Monks Cloth fabric for Punch needle 50 x 70 cm

Punch needle is  a very nice hobby to make for example wall hangers, cushion covers, jewelry, bag, cuddles and many other products. For this hobby you need fabric, yarn, a punch needle and a frame or embroidery hoop. 

Depending on the choosen Punch needle, you use a fine or a little bit more less fine fabric to work with.  Monk's Cloth fabric is a 100% cotton fabric that is used a lot for punch needling. It is a loose woven Panama weave fabric  and very soft. The fabric is used a lot with the very famous Amy Oxford needles, but also with the Lavor Punch needle. Don't use a thinner Punch needle, like one for embroidery fibers, otherwise there is a chance the yarn will come out of the fabric, as soon as you pull up the needle to make w new stitch. 

Beware: You aways have to hem the fabric befor using it in a frame, to avoid fraying of the fabric 

The fabric is available in 3 different sizes, namely  50 x 70 cm (19,7 inch x 27,6 inch) , 50 x 140 cm (19,7 inch x 55,1 inch)  and 100 x 140 cm (39,4 inch x 55,1 inch)
