Catania cotton from Schachenmayr is  a very nice cotton yarn from Schachenmayr, very usefull for crochet or knitting, but also for Punch needle or weeving. The yarn is mercerised and doesn't spilt. This makes it the ideal yarn for corcheting or knitting, because you won't stick the needle into the yarn so easily.
